Our Story
Bountiful Serenity began as a name for a small farm. It became a way of describing both what we found here—and what we hoped to grow.

A Name Wide Enough for the Whole Farm
Bountiful Serenity began with a search for a farm name.
We considered many possibilities, but each one seemed to describe only one part of our lives here—the dairy, the goats or a single piece of the farm. None of them felt spacious enough to hold everything this place was becoming.
So we stopped asking what we farmed and began asking what we experienced here.
By South African standards, ours is a smallholding, but life here has never felt small. There is abundance in its animals, its gardens, its open skies and the many elements of nature we are fortunate to enjoy.
There was also a longing for something quieter: a peaceful, slower way of living. We have not arrived there perfectly, but it remains the life we are learning to cultivate—and we wanted that serenity in abundance.
Bountiful described what the farm already gave us. Serenity described what we hoped to grow here.
And so, Bountiful Serenity Lifestyle Farm was born—a name wide enough to hold the animals, the seasons, the things we make and the life unfolding between them.
Bountiful in the Everyday
Abundance here is not measured only by what the farm produces, but by the life it allows us to notice.

We are still learning to live more slowly, to notice more deeply and to receive each season as it comes. This is the life we are growing into—and the one we invite you to share.
Welcome to the farm. Stay as long as you like.
